Privacy statement
What this site collects
This site collects only what you give it deliberately: the information entered in the contact form (first name, last name, organisation, email, phone, message) and the email address supplied when subscribing to the newsletter. No account is created and no payment is processed on this site.
What the server records
Like any web server, the one hosting this site keeps technical logs containing the IP address, date, page viewed and browser used. These logs serve security and diagnostics, and are kept for no more than twelve months.
Why this data is used
Contact form information is used solely to answer your enquiry. The address supplied for the newsletter is used solely to send you that newsletter. None of this data is used for profiling or advertising.
Proof of consent
When you subscribe to the newsletter, the site records the date and time, the exact wording of the box you ticked, your IP address and your browser. This proof exists to protect you: it shows that nobody subscribed you in your place.
How long it is kept
Contact form messages are kept for three years after the last exchange. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, after which the proof of consent is kept for three years for compliance reasons. Technical logs are kept for no more than twelve months.
Who has access
Only those people at the Institute who need it in order to reply or to send the newsletter. No data is sold, rented or exchanged. No advertising subcontractor has access to this site.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@icm.qc.ca. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter in one click using the link in every email, without logging in.
Cookies
This site sets a deliberately small number of cookies, detailed in the cookie policy. No analytics or advertising cookie is set without your explicit consent.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Data is hosted on a server located in Canada. Administrative access is protected by a password and by a limit on login attempts.
Changes
Any change to this statement will be published on this page, with its update date.
