Commitment
Holding the line over years, not for the length of a campaign.
A foundation funding cancer research since 1947.

Mission and vision
The Institute provides financial support for research excellence in the Cancer axis of the Research Centre of the Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal. In practice, that takes four forms.

The Institute treats no one, houses no one and supports no patient directly. If you are looking for help for yourself or someone close to you, these organisations exist for exactly that, and they do it well.
Info cancer line, lodging, and support during treatment.
Information on the disease, treatments and services across the country.
Support for children with cancer and their families.
Holding the line over years, not for the length of a campaign.
Making the laboratory and the clinic work together.
Saying what the money funds, and what it does not.
Funding peer reviewed work, not the most visible work.
Taking a chance on an early project when no one else will.
The Institute works inside an established hospital and university ecosystem, which keeps it from funding into a void and gives it access to teams that have already been assessed.
