Six ways to give
Monthly gift
From 20 dollars a month, charged automatically. This is the form that helps most in planning funding over several years.
Memorial gift
To honour someone who has died. The Institute can send forms and thank you cards to the funeral home, and inform the family of your gesture.
Directed gift
Towards a specific cancer type or a named member researcher. Failing that, towards the project the scientific committee deems a priority.
Event gift
Attached to the activity of your choice, among those of the Institute.
Major or planned gift
Bequests, endowment funds, shares, life insurance. See the dedicated page.

Your gift is recorded.

An official receipt is issued to you for income tax purposes.

The amount joins the chosen project, or the one the expert committee deems a priority.

Giving for one cancer in particular
Many people give after living through an illness, or seeing it up close in someone else. A gift can be directed to a type of cancer, or to a named member researcher.
If the intended project is already funded, the sum goes to the one the scientific committee deems a priority in the same field. Nothing sits waiting.
What about administration costs?
That is the first question an attentive donor asks, and this site cannot answer it with a figure: the exact share going to costs is not published in the sources available to it. The Institute's annual reports are public.
